More than 275 participants enjoyed a full day of educational sessions and networking at the 2017 St. Louis Alliance for Reentry Summit on March 14 on the campus of St. Louis Community College-Florisssant Valley. The focus of the Summit was on health, mental health, and substance use issues in the reentry field.
The Summit featured 22 speakers, 4 panel discussions, and was sponsored by ARCHS, Missouri Department of Corrections, Lutheran Foundation of St. Louis, St. Louis Community College, Washington University in St. Louis, St. Louis City, and St. Louis County.
STAR's Spring 2017 White Paper is now available. The paper was previewed by Stefani Moore, Center for Women in Transition, at the March 14, 2017 STAR Summit. Entitled "Health, Behavioral Health, and Substance Use Disorder: An Overview of the Issues Within the Criminal Justice System," the paper set the stage for the day-long Summit.
