Great information sharing and networking opportunities for criminal justice, community, and faith-based organizations providing services to ex-offenders and their families.

Keynote Speaker: Eugene Schneeberg, Director of Center for Faith-Based & Neighborhood Partnerships, U.S. Department of Justice.

Registration is open for the STAR Professional Development: "Community + Housing + Ex-Offenders." The training will be held from 8 a.m. to noon on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at St. Louis Community College -William J. Harrison Education Center (3140 Cass Ave, St. Louis 63106).

Participating panel discussion organizations include: ArchCity Defenders, Center for Women in Transition, Criminal Justice Ministry, Gateway Greening, St. Louis Housing Authority, St. Louis Transitional Hope House, and St. Patrick Center.

Probation and Parole to Host Resource Fair

The Missouri Board of Probation and Parole and STAR will hold their annual Resource Fair on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Friendly Temple Missionary Baptist Church (5515 Martin Luther King Dr, St. Louis, MO 63112). Doors will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Come out to meet and network with fellow social service, health, education, substance abuse, mental health, and employment professionals from across the St. Louis City and County, and St. Charles areas.
